Racing is more than just the moment when you cross the line – it´s all about training, technique and in the end - the competition. Physical and mental strength is the key to success, but perfect gear helps a lot. 2011 the production class was introduced and has made racing much more accessible to everyone all over the world and has made the sport a lot more professional too. Right after the KSP Mauritius we took the chance to really enjoy Mauritius and managed to get some sick shots of barrels, huge walls and also massive wipeouts. Additionally get a closer look on the beautiful island Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, probably one of the most versatile kite spots on this globe: flat water lagoons, wave entry spots and of course impressing One Eye. The North Kiteboarding Team went down to beautiful New Caledonia in late August this year. Tom Hebert, Angela Peral and Airton Cozzolino where accompanied by the brand new Evo´s and took fully advantage of the breathtaking kite spots they found!
