2010 a représenté un grand pas un avant dans le domaine de la technologie de construction des boards puisque North Kiteboarding présente alors la construction « 3D Carbone Bois Cap Sandwich ». En combinant les propriétés uniques d’un noyau bois avec fibre de carbone, le flex évolué d’un pont CNC 3D laminé et d’une carène concave, North définit un nouveau standard de performance, confort et résistance. En 2010 ces nouveaux standards ont été encore optimisés.
Surf Boards
La technologie issue du windsurf a été optimisée et délivre un gros ratio poids-puissance et une résistance énorme contre les creux et perforations. Le résultat: des kiteboards surf-style haute performance robuste. Pour la saison 2010, nous avons une fois encore apporté beaucoup de soin à l’optimisation du flex et aux capacités d’absorption afin de nous rapprocher le plus possible du feeling et des performances de navigation d’une board custom traditionnelle en mousse clark polyester. Le développement du nouveau noyau surf haute densité avec un sandwich bois et le laminage multi-axe en fibre de verre améliorent le flex, la torsion et l’amorti. Based on a unique new construction of the board in the tip area, the scoop rocker line ensures better response to changing situations. In underpowered riding, the board remains flat for fast planing. In overpowered riding, the scoop bends and provides for an increased level of control and stability. The flex tips absorb shocks and enable soft landings.

La technologie utilisée pour produire nos twin-tips est dérivée de la construction des snowboards. Nous sommes constamment en train d’améliorer cette construction, en intégrant des matériaux nouveaux afin de créer un flex meilleur et des planches plus résistantes.
